Notion Ink CEO Rohan Shravan has shared some information about the release of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Rohan Shravan is also the same person who shared some information before about the Android Gingerbread few days ahead. In a Notion Ink blog post about their plans to enhance the performance of Adam’s graphics, Shravan stated that in late October, devices based on OMAP will be the first to have the Android Ice Cream Sandwich from Google. It means that Tegra based devices will receive the update after OMAP. By November, Notion Ink will update the Adam to Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
Furthermore, people at Phone Arena confirmed that Shravan replied to their query saying that although Notion Ink is not included in the Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich list, Google has distributed its original design manufacturer with early builds of Ice Cream Sandwich.
For the past few months, we’ve been hearing a lot of reports about the Ice Cream Sandwich but we’ll have to wait for the official announcement to confirm.
